Grapes: 100% aglianico
Harvest: handmade, in boxes, at the beginning of October, when the fruit is completely ripe.
Vinification: 5-6 days maceration and vinification at controlled temperature within inox steel.
Ageing: at least 12 months in tuff, natural caves, within French oak tonneaux.
Alcohol content: 14%
Organoleptic features:
- Colour: intense ruby red.
- Smell: notes of fresh red fruits with traces of spices.
- Taste: rich, full bouquet, with fine tannins that give length and persistence. Fresh, pleasant-tasting, fragrant, well-structured and with a final taste that remember fresh fruit.
Food pairing: excellent with boiled meat and soups, main dishes with meat-sauces dressing and half-seasoned cheeses.
Serving temperature: room-temperature, 16-18°C.
